Windows 365 Link has a compact, fanless, and easy-to-use design, optimized for use with displays and peripherals.
Pavan Davuluri, head of Microsoft’s Windows and Surface division, shared the following.“We want to focus on the Windows 365 experience, helping users explore cloud computing as quickly and easily as possible. The goal is to make the device ‘invisible’, optimized from configuration , into conversion tasks.”

Windows 365 Link is built with powerful Microsoft security technologies, which the company applies to Windows operating systems and Xbox consoles.
The machine can boot up in seconds, wake up instantly from sleep mode, and use its own chip to render video for applications like Microsoft Teams or WebX.
Regarding connection ports, the device includes:
- Behind:2 USB-A 3.2 ports, 1 USB-C 3.2 port, 1 DisplayPort port, 1 HDMI port and an Ethernet connection.
- Face:1 USB-A 3.2 port.

The ultra-light operating system on Windows 365 Link requires no complex management, allowing IT administrators to add Microsoft Intune with minimal configuration.“It’s the most secure version of Windows, like an Xbox or a phone: light but extremely sturdy. Not supporting Win32 makes things simpler and safer.”
Suitable solution for businesses.
Windows 365 Link is especially suitable for businesses that have deployed Windows 365, such as hot desking.
Pavan Davaluri emphasized:“Our goal is to set prices that are reasonable for enterprise customers using the scenarios and workloads that Link can best handle.”
The future of cloud PCs with OEMs.
Microsoft does not intend to be “exclusive” with Windows 365 Link.

Price and release date.
Windows 365 Link is currently in beta and is expected to be available in some markets in April 2025 for 349 USD (about 9 million VND).
